We report on the initial results obtained with an image convolution/deconvolution computer code that we developed and used to study formation capabilities of solar gravitational lens (SGL). Although SGL a spherical Sun creates greatly blurred image, knowledge SGL's point-spread function (PSF) makes it possible reconstruct original remove blur by way deconvolution. discuss deconvolution process, which can be implemented either direct matrix inversion or Fourier quotient method. observe process introduces ``penalty'' in form reduction signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) recovered compared SNR at data is collected. estimate magnitude this penalty using analytical approach confirm series numerical simulations. find substantially reduced when spacing between samples large telescope aperture. The further suitable noise filtering, yield ${\cal O}(10)$ better improvement for low-quality imaging data. Our use purposes. offer insights collection processing strategies could detailed exoplanet within times are consistent duration realistic space mission.
